Adventures in Writing Grades 3-5*
$220 per semester/$440 yr
Online: Mondays, 11:00-12:00 EST
Begins: Mid-August

Curriculum: Adventures in Writing student book, portable wall
Students will write about adventurous topics such as Roman hoplites, tornadoes, Leif Eriksson, and many more interesting topics. Adventures in Writing is a theme-based curriculum for students in 3rd grade. This class will cover seven of the nine IEW Units. In addition, students will have access to vocabulary words and literature suggestions. This is considered a level A class. The source texts are written in the 3rd -5th grade reading level.
Frontiers in Writing Grades 5-6*
$240 sem/$480 yr
Online: Mondays, 1:30-2:45 EST
Online: Thursdays, 11:00-12:15 EST * NEW
Begins Mid-August
30 weeks
1.25 hour class
Curriculum: Frontiers in Writing student book, portable wall
Students will write about fascinating subjects such as Halley’s Comet, The Mona Lisa, the Wild West, and many more interesting topics. Frontiers in Writing is a theme-based curriculum for students in 5th grade. This class will cover the nine IEW Units. In addition, students will have access to vocabulary words and literature suggestions. This is considered a level A class. The source texts are written in the 3rd -5th grade reading level.
Fables, Myths and Fairy Tales. Grades 4-6*
$240 per sem/$480 yr
Online Thursdays, 1:30-2:45 EST
Begins: Mid- August
30 weeks

Curriculum: Fables, Myths, and Fairy Tales student book, portable wall
Let your students’ imaginations soar while enjoying classic children’s tales and learning to write with the IEW Structure and Style Method. This course covers eight out of the nine IEW units. In addition, it will include vocabulary words and activities to further the student’s learning. This is considered a level A class. The source texts are written in the 3rd -5th grade reading level.
